Project Manager, Cultural Awareness Aged Care
Does the issue of ageing in the GLBT community interest you? Are you passionate about improving the lives of people from the GLBT community who are growing older?
ACON is looking for a suitably qualified person with good communication skills and a background in developing and delivering training programs, to work on a new project which provides training to aged care facilities in both Sydney and regional NSW. This position will work closely with partner organisations and will oversee the development and implementation of cultural awareness and sensitivity training within the aged care sector.
This is a full time position (38 hours/week) on a 12 month fixed term contract and it's based in Sydney.

Communications and marketing coordinator
ASHM is seeking a dynamic individual to coordinate a communications, marketing and media strategy which facilitates and broadens communication between the Society’s members and its key stakeholders. The successful applicant will have a pivotal and exciting role promoting ASHM’s work across its three core divisions: Professional Education, Conference Sponsorship and Events, and the International Program.
Key tasks will include developing, implementing and evaluating communications, marketing, membership development and sponsorship plans which will involve producing and coordinating promotional schedules, writing articles, press releases and presentations; and media networking.

Men’s Health Project Coordination
Permanent full time position, based in Darwin.
The Northern Territory AIDS and Hepatitis Council is a non-profit organisation providing a diverse range of services to the community. Recently restructured, our Darwin operations need a dynamic individual who loves working in a team environment to help us meet our goals. This project aims to enhance the capacity of men who are positive (Hepatitis C or HIV) to live their life to its full potential.
The successful applicant will have a background in case management and/or health promotion. This position will work closely with the Women’s Health Project Coordinator in order to deliver a team approach to client services. The position operates within the NTAHC project team and will work across all project areas to deliver education messages and training sessions to external organisations. The successful applicant will be based at the Darwin office, and will be required to undertake interstate travel for training and conferences from time to time.
The role contributes to the overall aim of NTAHC to prevent blood borne viruses and to support people living with Hep C or HIV.

Community Development Officer, Positive Directions
(part time - one year contract)
This is a new position which will be responsible for working with a committee to develop and co-ordinate a client centred program that will improve the capacity of people living with HIV (PLHIV) to connect, and remain connected to, social and community supports. The primary target group are PLHIV that have been identified as being socially isolated and/or in need of practical assistance. The working title of the program is Positive Directions.

The WA AIDS Council is seeking a skilled, enthusiastic person who is wanting to make a difference in the community.
HOURS: 0.8FTE (60 hours per fortnight)
AWARD: SACS Level 5
Applicants must have experience in the development, implementation and monitoring of health and/or social policies and an understanding of national and state legislative, regulatory and funding frameworks.
Applicants must have well developed conceptual and analytical skills with excellent oral and written communication skills. A capacity to work flexibly - independently as well as collaboratively is also required.
